38-year-old GM Anton Korobov has won the Ukrainian Chess Championship four times.
He became a GM in 2003, and since then, he has had a number of good tournament results. In 2012, he shared first place in the Aeroflot Open.
In 2013, he won the European Blitz Chess Championships, and in 2016, he was part of the Ukrainian team that came in second in the Baku Chess Olympics.
Earlier this year, he participated in the Tata Steel Chess Challengers tournament, where he scored 8.5 points in 13 rounds, finishing in a shared fourth place.
He is participating in the TePe Sigeman Chess Tournament for the first time.
